There is no doubting that Chris Webby is one of the most lyrically talented rappers to take the blogsphere by storm these past three years. His witty metaphors and clever punchlines have built him a huge fan base as he prepares to release his debut album in the coming months. 6 mixtapes deep and a 7th on the way there in no shortage of music for Webby fans to enjoy. Arguably my favorite mixtape of all time Best In The Burbs has gone down as a classic for teenagers and college kids across the country. Webby's rhymes serve as an escape from whatever is on your mind. There is no doubting that with all of his success including his ability to crash datpiff's server not once but twice that he has made just as many enemies as he has friends. His cocky attitude and sometimes spiteful rhymes have made him no stranger to hate. I have watched Webby grow from a drugged out teenager to much more mature musician and I expect his debut album to be one for the history books.
